Loading Deck was founded around a year ago and has consistently taken on more work every month. The company is now at a stage where it will need to take on additional part-time/contract staff members to help with the load.
Duties will involve a combination of one or more of the following:
- Request handling by email, Skype and telephone
- Potentially complex systems administration tasks on Linux servers
- Development tasks, mainly PHP-based
The right candidate will:
- Have knowledge of Linux system fundamentals
- Be UK-based, ideally close to or in Lancashire
- Have experience in a customer-facing role
- Have experience with different programming languages
- Be a friendly, relaxed, organised person
- Have a good working environment at home
- Speak English as a first language
This is a work-from-home position however you will be required to meet me in Lancaster at least fortnightly to receive training, sign an agreement and go over any issues. Hours are flexible around the right candidate's schedule.
