Internet.bs alternatives

So if you're anything like me, you have a couple of domains that are .com, .net, or whatever that are technically under US or EU jurisdiction but you prefer to keep them with a registrar that isn't in US or EU. You're not doing anything (terribly) illegal but maybe it's controversial or for some other reason you want to keep it outside of US/EU. We're not here to judge - we're here to help!

Well, until today - that registrar was Internet Bahamas. With the news of CentralNIC buying Internet.bs, I think it's time to re-consider.

I quickly went through the InterNIC list of registrars and I've compiled a quick little list of registrars.

Please feel free to add to this. There are a lot of registrars missing. Let's make this a community effort!

Do you have experience with any of these or others?

List removed as it risked getting outdated. See link below.

I'm going to keep a prettier-looking list updated on http://ift.tt/UN6xAc but this is too much work for me to do solo. Prefer to only list accredited registrars; no resellers.
