Which is generally faster - 10K with SW RAID10, or normal 7200 HDDs with HW RAID10
Found a few MX961's with low prices and was going to put them in a computer for RAID10 with 4 drives.
CPU on the computer is a Q9650 Quad Core.
Additionally, how loud are the 10/15k HDDs compared to standard 7200s?
