I want to register brand.com but the brand in question is a registered trademark in EU (Community TM) and was a registered trademark in the US and has expired.
Would I get problems if I register this .com domain? I just want to have it for fun it's a cool company name that obsolete today, but trademark is still kept by the new company that had bought them out.
I don't want to put anything on the site just blank page, and don't want to sell it to TM owners.
I might however attempt to acquire the trademark in the US later on as it's expired. But this is not really part of the question now.
So can I buy a .com domain of a registered trademark and not have problems?
